T-9 Days until our Phoenix Featured Game, being hosted over January 18th – 19th, 2019! We’re buttoning everything up on our end, so we wanted to get the information out for everyone – important things regarding character sheets!
Our event is requiring two printed copies of your character sheet, with one copy of your XP log. Players will turn in one copy of their sheet for the ST Staff along with the XP Log. The other copy is for the player’s use during the game.
As a reminder, the character sheet in the Database is the “master” sheet. Make certain the database is up to date and matches what you bring in printed format.
The site does have an On-Site Business Center, open 24 hours a day, complete with printing, copying and office supplies as needed.
If you have not registered yet, please jump in and do so now. Prices go up next week.
Putting on an event of this nature takes time, effort, and dedication. Without the support of the Domain and the Membership of the MES in general, we would never be as successful as we are. TO THAT END – and to thank the membership for everything that they have done – the Domain of Dead Man’s Hand will be raffling off two very special things at our FGoTM on Saturday 1/19/2019 , at the close of our live auction:
1) A membership (either new or renewal) to MES
2) A general membership entrance fee to MESCON 2019 here in Scottsdale in July
While we will not have these in hand to award, the Domain will pay for these, in your name, should you win (yes, you may give them someone else, if you win, and so choose to do so).
Raffle tickets for these raffles will be for sale … IN PERSON… AT PHX FGoTM ONLY.
1 ticket = $2 or 3 tickets = $5 (cash or PayPal accepted)
All proceeds from these raffles will benefit our selected charity – Florence Crittenton Services of Arizona https://www.flocrit.org/
Thank you all for everything that you do to support our FGoTM; we look forward to seeing as many of you who can attend!
Happy New Year! We’re hoping it’s been a good start of 2019 for all of you! We’re just over two weeks out from our Phoenix Featured Game of the Month, coming up over January 18-19, 2019!
Firstly, our VIP Registration has closed, in order to allow us time to prep the swag. We still have Standard Registration open, with the price of 30$ prior to the 18th. The price goes up to 35$ at the door. Feel free to register at the link below:
Secondly, our pre-game Auctions have closed and the winners have been emailed an invoice! If you haven’t received it, please contact me privately. We’re happy to say we’ve already raised 200+ dollars for our charity!
As always, all our information can be found on our FGotM website: https://fgotm.dmh-mes.com
Phoenix’s annual FGoTM is just around the corner. We are SUPER EXCITED to see as many of you who can make it out to see us. Details on the event can be found Here: http://fgotm.dmh-mes.com/
On that note – we all love our prop accessories, and many of us spend a great deal of time and money on them. However, realistic prop weapons can be problematic for both the hosting location, and some attendees.
Our FGoTM has *not* requested permission to use the prop weapons policy for conventions for MES. So before you pack that awesome prop weapon to bring to the game – drop me a note first, and we can look it over together to determine if it will be permitted in the game space.
General rule – if a police officer, in a dark alley, might mistake your prop for being real … do not bring it into the game space for our event.
Now, we DO have an AMAZING photographer who will be be set up to do portraits for folks. If you would like to pose for photos with your prop weapons in the OOC room, you are more than welcome to do so.
If anyone has questions – feel feel to drop me a note and I will be happy to chat with you about this.
